How will voting work for America’s Got Talent: All Stars?
Each week 10 Acts from the 60 listed above will perform for the judges for the chance to earn one of the coveted five Golden Buzzers, which will take them directly to the finals. The AGT Superfans will also vote on an additional act to move onto the finals. Following the final performances, the superfans will vote again on the 11 finalists to choose the winner, which will be revealed in the two-hour finale
What does the Golden Buzzer mean on America’s Got Talent: All Stars?
We all love those emotional Golden Buzzer moments when one of the judges (Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara) or host Terry Crews is so moved by a performance that they press the Golden Buzzer, confetti streams down, and that act is sent directly to the live shows. Each of the judges and Terry only gets to use the Golden Buzzer one time each season and that takes place during the initial audition period. We have gotten so used to the Golden Buzzer, but it wasn’t initially a part of America’s Got Talent. In fact, it wasn’t introduced until Season 10. But it has proven how good a judge of talent our judges and host are. Six out of the eight AGT winners since its introduction—Paul Zerdin, Grace VanderWaal, Darci Lynne, Kodi Lee, Brandon Leake, and the Mayya —were Golden Buzzers. The two exceptions were Shin Lim and Dustin Tavella.

Week 1: Light Balance Kids
And judge Howie Mandel is helping Light Balance Kids achieve that win by selecting them as his Golden Buzzer, which sends them straight through to the finale. “You’ve always been one of my favorite acts that I’ve seen in the history of America’s Got Talent,” Howie told them after their performance. “There’s such an amazing message here. Where you come from is arguably the darkest place in the world and you come to bring us light. If I can do anything on behalf of America, on behalf of AGT: All-Stars, to bring you more light than you bring us, I’d like to do that for you.”
America’s Got Talent: The Champions
All Stars isn’t the first time that AGT has brought together competitors from several versions of its franchise. It premiered America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2020 and brought it back again in 2021. The first season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions featured close to 50 participants from across the Got Talent franchise with magician Shin Lim emerging as the winner. The second season featured around 40 participants with dance troupe V. Unbeatable taking home the title.
