The 54-year-old actor posted a well-spoken response on Instagram after receiving hate from people because she wore a red, white and blue bikini in a Fourth of July video, set to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The U.S.A.”  Posting a photo of herself in a white and pink bikini, D’Errico used the caption to share her opinion on the criticism. “Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was ‘classier than that’ and ’too old to wear a bikini’ and, my favorite, ‘desperate,’” she said. Continuing, D’Errico wrote, “Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table ❤️.” Many people shared their support in the comments, with Tracey Bregman of The Young and the Restless writing, “Gorgeous and F anyone who tries to tear you down. You look incredible period.” D’Errico has been working steadily since her role in Baywatch, and most recently, she appeared in episodes of 9-1-1, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Digital Sky.  In 2022, she starred in the new movie Frank and Penelope, directed by Sean Patrick Flanery and co-starring Caylee Cowan, Billy Budinich, and Kevin Dillon.  Next up, D’Errico is set to star in the movie 116 MacDougal, about a Greenwich Village coffee shop that hosted major writers and musicians like Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, and Allen Ginsberg.
