The colossal deal is the biggest hit to Hallmark Channel to date. Previous stars who’ve made the move to GAC Family include Danica McKellar, Jen Lilley, Daniel Lissing and Lori Loughlin. Cameron Bure has starred in more than two dozen films for the network, including as the titular character in the popular Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries. The fan favorite has also starred in 10 Hallmark Christmas movies including 2014’s Christmas Under Wraps, which remains the network’s highest rated holiday movie of all time. What this means for the Aurora Teagarden franchise remains to be seen. Under her deal with GAC, Cameron Bure will develop, produce and star in movies and series across both GAC Media networks: GAC Family and GAC Living. In addition, Cameron Bure will take on an executive role in the company to oversee and curate programming for both networks. She will also develop and produce original content for GAC through her Candy Rock Entertainment company. On top of all that, Cameron Bure will also play a key role in the GAC ’s Great American Christmas franchise which hopes to rival Hallmark Channel’s annual Countdown to Christmas programming.
