Paparazzi captured photos of Brinkley as she strutted the streets of the Big Apple donning a red long-sleeve skater dress, sparkly silver booties that shimmered in the light, and a long black peacoat to keep warm. She tied the look together with a festive red lip. Earlier in the day, the model made an appearance on the TODAY show where Hoda Kotb complimented Brinkley’s outfit, “You’re so festive, you got the whole Christmas vibe going–first of all, your boots are to die for.” Kotb went on to ask the model what Christmas is like in her house, to which she responded, “I love Christmas, and I love decorating–you know, when the kids were little, I loved recreating all the magic.” Brinkley continued: “I’d put the train track around the tree and all of that stuff. I love a good old-fashioned Christmas and Christmas caroling!” She went on to say that she binds books together that include lyrics from Christmas carols and passes them out to her family for everyone to sing along. Brinkley also revealed that she keeps her Christmas tree in the kitchen. You heard that right, the kitchen! “We live in our kitchen; we barely go into any of the other rooms. So I said, ‘why are we gonna put the tree down there in the living room when we’re never in there.’” Makes sense!
