After Stranger Things creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, confirmed that a spin-off will be coming in the future, Habour weighed in with some recommendations as to who he believes would make a good young Hop. Harbour recently told GQ about what he’d love to see from the Stranger Things spinoff, noting that it would be a treat to see Hopper in his 20s. “At this point, I think Hopper is a character that can exist independent of me. If they wanna go back in time, forward in time… I’d love to see another actor play Hopper, and see what they can bring to it,” he said.  As for the actor he has in mind? Jacob Elordi from HBO Max’s Euphoria. Harbour told GQ that Elordi “could pull off being as handsome as I was at 20.” Now, that is something we’d all love to see! Theo Wargo/Getty Images Matt added: “It’s going to be different than what anyone is expecting, including Netflix.“As for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, Harbour noted that fans could likely expect it to hit the streaming giant in the middle of 2024. “I think we’ll shoot next year. They’re finishing writing it this year, and they need to prep and stuff, so hopefully it’ll be this year,” Harbour told the outlet, adding, “But I think that’s the plan. So it’d probably come out mid-2024, based on our track record.” Next, see Kate Bush react to Stranger Things using her song in season 4.
