Barrymore uploaded a video on Instagram of the two of them doing a popular TikTok trend. The trend in question started in September and features the creator dancing to the song “Pretty Boy Swag” by Soulja Boy. In the videos, people sway their hips and move their arms by their sides—or even make their pets appear to do the same—to the line, “I’m lookin’ for a yellow bone long-haired star.” The video then usually switches to another person doing the same for the line, “Thick in the hips come and get in my car,” and text overlaying each clip usually contrasts the two people, Barrymore decided to make it a full team effort with Stewart, captioning the video, “We had to do it together! @marthastewart48 @thedrewbarrymoreshow.” In the short clip, which just continues on into the second part instead of switching views, text over it reads, “Two girls supposed to do the trend separately,” before changing to say, “Decide to do it together instead.” It’s a cute and fun little video that people loved, with one fan commenting, “The best duo!!! 🖤🖤🖤.” Another person wrote, “You two are a great collaboration! 🧡❤️🎶.” Barrymore and Stewart have known each other for a long time now, and they co-hosted Z100’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball last December. The TV host posted a photo of them from that event on Instagram as well, writing, “Thanks for coming on the show ❤️ @marthastewart48 @thedrewbarrymoreshow.” Stewart was also featured on the show back in June, joining Barrymore for a segment in which Stewart helped Barrymore open letters from people across the U.S. for “Dear Drew.” One person from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania asked for advice on how to put on the best tailgating party for football season. Stewart told him to “think of unique things…And bring delicious food.
