The two Dancing With the Stars pros welcomed a tiny new addition to their family earlier this week and shared a first glimpse of the baby boy with a sweet photo announcement. “Our world is forever changed 🤍 1.10.2023,” the couple wrote in their joint post delightfully declared via Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 11, revealing their son’s birthday. The message was shared with a close-up of the new parents’ hands embracing each other as their newborn tightly grips Johnson’s thumb. The couple–who wed in 2019–did not share any further details about their firstborn, although they previously announced the baby’s sex on Instagram and alluded to agreeing on a name. Johnson, 28, told PEOPLE in July 2022 that she and Chmerkovskiy, 36, had picked out baby names well before she found out she was pregnant. “We actually have had a boy and a girl name picked out for three years now,” the expecting mom revealed. “Val actually picked out the name for our boy, so we have it.” Though, she later noted that she’s “a visual person” and won’t write off a decision to scrap her husband’s choice after meeting the baby for the first time. “I have this weird thing where I don’t want to be 100 percent set on it, even though we both love it.” “I really want to see him first before we make that decision,” she added. “We have one that I’m pretty set on, so who knows, it might switch the day of.” So it looks like fans will just have to stay tuned for the grand reveal of the baby’s name.
