As the ladies of Patience got together for a girls night out—referred to as a “GN59”—Kate’s (Meredith Garretson) laser physicist cousin, Carlyn (Alex Borstein), was visiting the Colorado town and met—and seemed to fall for— Harry. Harry, using Carlyn’s attraction to him to his advantage, shape-shifted into Carlyn so he could steal a telemetry diffuser from her lab—a piece crucial to making his makeshift radio work. He also learns what it is like to be a woman after being groped by Carlyn’s handsy boss. Borstein does a hysterical job pretending to be Harry pretending to be Carlyn. During their evening escapade, the women discover the pay discrepancy between the male and female city employees of Patience and look to do something about it. There were some humorous lines last week too like, “Day-old buns disguise the week-old meat” and “Being a man is hard too. I have to brush my teeth sometimes.” Did you know the episode was written by Jenna Lamia, who plays ditzy Judy Cooper on the show? Lamia is also a writer as well as a consulting producer on NBC’s Good Girls. In this week’s episode, “Radio Harry”,  Asta (Sara Tomko) isn’t sure if Harry is really building a radio to contact his people to tell them not to come to destroy the Earth as she suggested or if he’s building another bomb. Intent on finding out, she and Harry (and a few others) go camping on the reservation. In this amusing Parade.com exclusive first look at “Radio Harry”, Harry is looking for praise but instead gets an earful from one of the females he’s most fearful of—Sahar (Gracelyn Awad Rinke).
