The official A24 Instagram account shared the first photos from the film on Tuesday, writing: “Premiering at the 79th Venice Film Festival: Darren Aronofsky’s THE WHALE starring Brendan Fraser and Sadie Sink.” Fans could not hold back their excitement once they saw the image of Fraser, leaving a slew of uplifting comments on the post. One fan wrote, “Yessssss let this be Brendan Fraser’s first Oscar role!!!!! This man deserves his flowers!!!!” Another commented: “You had me at Brendan Fraser🔥” Yet a third fan wrote, “Let the Brennaisance commence 🥲” Other hardcore supporters took their excitement to Twitter, commending the actor for making a return to the big screen. “So much respect for the gifted Brendan Fraser.
