Mirren and Taylor have lived there for about 30 years and are listing the home for $18.5 million, or to rent at $45,000 per month, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com. At 10,200 square feet, the home includes plenty of space for entertaining, including several large common rooms with French doors opening out to gorgeous natural and city views. There’s also a wood-paneled library, a cozy bar, and a terrace and outdoor pool surrounded by plenty of privacy foliage. The home, situated on about 6.5 acres, also features nine bedrooms and 11 baths and includes a separate, three-bedroom guest house. Mirren is one of few actors to achieve the so-called “triple crown” of acting, meaning she has won a competitive Oscar, Emmy and Tony in the acting category. In 2022, she is set to appear in the war drama White Bird: A Wonder Story, as well as Shazam! Fury of the Gods, an upcoming movie based on the DC Comics character Shazam. These days, Mirren and Taylor are spending most of their time at their new home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada — and apparently having some close encounters with the local wildlife. Mirren revealed she personally chased away a “big black bear” from her garden last year. “I went out and I said: ‘Bad bear, bad, naughty bear, very naughty bear!’” she said on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast last July. “He took one look at me and lumbered off.” Launch the gallery to see inside Mirren’s former Hollywood Hills home!
