How to Get White Teeth

1. Book a Smile Makeover

If you have cosmetic dental concerns, try to consult with a cosmetic dentist at leas 6-9 months in advance, smile makeovers can take time but they are the best way to achieve whiter teeth, along with more self confidence!

2. Schedule Regular Teeth Cleanings

Continue getting your dental checkups and cleanings regularly. Flossing and brushing are also necessary for a whiter smile.

3. Book a Professional Whitening Treatment

A whitening treatment like Zoom is always the simplest and easiest thing to do for super pearly whites. This can be about a week before a big day or event so your smile stays perfect.

4. Choose the Right Lipstick Color

Pick something with blue undertones, not peach or orange. Blue will make the smile look whiter.

5. Stay Hydrated!

This will help keep your smile bright and breath fresh.

6. Pop a Probiotic

You should always take probiotics because that can help with fresh breath. We like HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotics since they contain prebiotic konjac root for balanced gut health.

7. Consider Oil Pulling

Coconut oil pulling can help your smile look white and feel clean. Learn how oil pulling works here.

How to Get Rid of White Spots On Teeth

Whitening or bleaching can actually in some instances make white spots worse, so speak to your dentist! There are treatments like Icon that are applied directly to the white spot to reduce the appearance. If they’re very noticeable or you want them completely removed, there are enamel microabrasion treatments that can be done by your dentist. This basically buffs the tooth using mild abrasion to remove the surrounding enamel. Composite can also be used to camouflage  and in some instances porcelain veneers to totally mask.
