After PEOPLEfirst reported on Mon., Sept. 27 that the Girls creator had tied the knot with boyfriend Luis Felber, the 35-year-old Dunham dished to Vogue on Sept. 29 that while the London-based ceremony was broadcast on Zoom for the couple’s friends and family in L.A., New York and Felber’s native Peru, the in-person component included nine bridesmaids in total. The lucky ladies included Dunham’s close pal Taylor Swift, plus 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman, Industry actress Myha’la Herrold, Dunham’s cousin, Jenna Hally Rubenstein, and Felber’s sister, Alma-Kori Felber. “I spent so much time during the pandemic talking to my girlfriends about our feelings over FaceTime, but a few of my best friends I haven’t seen in over a year,” Dunham said about having her best gal pals by her side during the ceremony at London’s trendy Union Club. “And, you know, my girlfriends have had to deal with a lot of not-so-happy things with me in our adulthood, so to be able to celebrate something joyful and use it as an excuse to be together was very special.” Dunham also revealed that she and her bridal party were attired in dresses by designer ChristopherKane and given purses by Susan Alexandra.
