Fancy Feast (by Purina) announced the opening of “Gatto Bianco by Fancy Feast”. This limited-time, Italian-style trattoria is located between the Far West Village and the Meatpacking District in NYC and is said to offer a culinary experience like no other. According to the press release, the pop-up restaurant “will bring the mealtime experience of cats to life for cat owners and cat lovers” and is set to include a special appearance by the iconic Fancy Feast cat herself.  The dishes, which are made with restaurant-grade ingredients (and NO cat food, I repeat the dishes do NOT actually contain Purina pet food) borrow inspiration from Fancy Feast Medleys recipes and pay homage to traditional Italian cuisine.  The menu was developed by Fancy Feast’s in-house chef, Amanda Hassner, along with Michelin Star-winning Italian chef and acclaimed New York restaurateur, Cesare Casella.  “Food has the power to connect us to others in meaningful ways and take us to places we have never been,” Hassner stated in a press release. “The same is true for our cats. The dishes at Gatto Bianco are prepared in ways that help cat owners understand how their cats experience food – from flavor, to texture, to form – in a way that only Fancy Feast can.” In addition to a delicious meal and chance to see the celebrity cat herself, guests will also be treated to a series of culinary exercises that showcase just how much detail and craft really goes into making your cat’s food.  If you’re interested in reserving a table, mark your calendar for 12 p.m. ET sharp on Aug. 4! Reservations can be made for one of four time slots beginning at 6:30 p.m. on both Aug. 11 or Aug. 12.  Limited space is available, so be sure to visit FancyFeast.com/Reservations to secure a spot or for more information.  More News:
