The country music legend, took to social media on Thursday, Nov. 3 to give her fans an update on her health and announce the postponing of this weekend’s concerts.  “My doctor has advised me to go on vocal rest, so I have made the difficult decision to reschedule this weekend’s shows,” she wrote in the statement, along with new dates for her shows in Columbus, Ohio, Raleigh, N.C. and Indianapolis, Ind. to take place in December.  “All tickets will be honored for the new dates,” the statement also read.   The notice—titled “An update from Reba”—was shared to her Instagram and Twitter pages on Thursday, along with the message, “Thank you for understanding! Love, Reba.”  Following the announcement, fans of the Big Sky actress flooded the comments to show their support despite the disappointing news.  “It’s important to get some rest. Prayers that you’ll have a speedy recovery!” one user responded on Twitter, while someone else added, “Get well soon. Rest up and take it easy. We’ll be ready when you are.”  “Take care of yourself! Your fans aren’t going anywhere. Praying for ya,” another fan chimed in.  “Please rest that fantastic voice of yours, we fans love you enough to wait as long as you need,” another tweet read.  The update comes in the midst of McEntire’s “Live in Concert” tour, which she recently extended into 2023.  “I’m just having so much fun out on the road that we’ve decided to add more dates and continue the fun on in to 2023,” she wrote on Twitter last month. The spring leg of the tour featuring special guests, Terri Clark and The Isaacs, will kick off in Jacksonville, Fla. in March 2023 and will conclude in New York City, where she will perform her first-ever headline show at the iconic Madison Square Garden.  “I am very grateful we’re continuing this tour on into 2023,” McEntire said in a statement, per her website. “I’ve had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most, entertaining people. And now getting to headline places like Madison Square Garden and bring my buddies Terri Clark and The Isaacs with me? Well, that’s just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!" Looking to score your own tickets to the show?
