The Aquaman star, 43, made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, Nov. 10, when he took off almost all of his clothes to slip into something a little more comfortable. After the late-night host brought up a recent Instagram post of Momoa wearing nothing but a Hawaiian malo, the actor said he wears the traditional clothing, which only covers the frontal portion of his groin, all the time. “I actually don’t even like wearing clothes anymore,” he told Kimmel, 54, during the interview, adding, “I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.” While Momoa insisted he doesn’t necessarily wear it in public while at the grocery store or to the movies, the Justice League alum said he was even wearing it under his clothing at that exact moment at Kimmel’s studio. Then before the audience knew it, Momoa was standing up and taking off his jacket and satin purple shirt (an ensemble from his newest film Slumberland), before bending down and pulling the matching pants all the way down to his ankles. He then did a 360 spin in the underwear-like garment to show off his bare backside, which, of course, made the live audience roar with excitement, while Kimmel was seen laughing and even fanning himself with a piece of paper during the playful striptease. Apparently, Momoa began wearing the loincloth while filming for his Apple TV+ series, Chief of War. “It’s all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii. That’s what I wear every day,” he explained during Wednesday’s interview. “I was just getting ready for the role and I like to get into character and so I was tanning my white ass.” The new limited series is expected to premiere sometime in 2023. In the meantime, fans can see Momoa in his new film Slumberland, which hit selective theaters on Friday, Nov. 11, and will begin streaming on Netflix Friday, Nov. 18. More News:
