It’s been an interesting run for Rozon who sat down with Parade.com to talk about his favorite moments from the series. Did you approach filming the first half of season 4 differently than the latter half? How so? Well for one, the second half was the first time in our show that we got to film in summertime, which was awesome. Except it was right in the middle of the pandemic so that wasn’t the best. Who has been your favorite character on Wynonna Earp? Waverly Earp tied with Bobo del Rey. Did cast spend time together off set? Pre-COVID: Varun [Saranga] and I had breakfast together religiously and we also loved to go to the Calgary library. Post-COVID: I remained quarantined to be honest. I felt I had a great responsibility to the crew and production to not put myself in any risk of getting COVID-19 and shutting down production. If you could have been any other character on Wynonna Earp, who would it be and why? Bobo Del Rey. Just to wear that coat and I always wanted a Mohawk. Did you take anything from set as a keepsake? Never. I’m superstitious like that. I feel like as long as I never take anything then I will always come back for another season. What do you think Doc Holliday is doing 10 years from now? Touring the country in a band called The Hawk Dollidays with his daughter, Alice Michelle. What did you do during the pandemic to stay sane? I take bass lessons via Zoom once a week, and I’m also team Peloton. I highly recommend the 45-minute Metallica ride. What’s up next for you? I just wrapped a new series for SYFY called SurrealEstate and reunited with my Schitt’s Creek co-star Sarah Levy. It follows an elite team of specialists that handle haunted and possessed houses that no one else can. Even as they struggle with demons of their own. It’s going to come out this summer, and I can’t wait. I’m really proud of this one. Will fans get a sense of closure with the final episode of season 4? The Earpers deserved season 4 and it makes my heart happy that they get it. Which scene of season 4 was the hardest to shoot? The last one. I knew in my heart in could be the last time I would be Doc Holliday. What has been your favorite episode? 412 [Series finale episode, “Old Souls”] What is your favorite story arc in the series? Dark Waverly Saga. What was your favorite scene to shoot? Being in jail with Varun Saranga and Dani Kind was pretty great. Those days were very chill.
