In a clip shared to the app by user @chatdadj, the adorable little tot is seen holding up his kitten to the TV screen during the famous scene of Simba being born. In the memorable movie scene, a mandrill named Rafiki anoints Simba and picks him up from his mother, Sarabi, as he proceeds to hold up the cub at the edge of a cliff over all the other animals while the film’s anthem “Circle of Life” plays. In the TikTok clip, the young boy tries to reenact the dramatic moment, by holding up his own pet kitten to the screen, much like Rafiki does in the film. He even holds the cat over his head at one point. In the background, you can hear the person filming the video stifling laughs, while the cat is even heard letting out some “meows.” “Somebody come help my cousin her son going crazy with his pet cat” the user captioned the wholesome video, which has over 760 likes. Thousands of commenters gushed over the precious moment in the comments, including one person who wrote, “That’s the best memory caught on video ever.” “Babies understand way more than people give them credit for,” another person pointed out. But the majority of commenters were focused on the cat, who was more than likely scared to be held up in the air by the child. “The cat was like bruuuuuuh. Put me down. 😂” one user wrote. “That cat is probably thinking my circle of life is coming to and end 😂😂😂” another joked. “Cat said this isn’t live action my guy put me down lol” someone else added.
