Quinton and Mattie’s journey through The Amazing Race highly vacillated, seeing both podium finishes and nearly getting eliminated in the second leg in Germany. A familiar problem seemed to crop up in this past leg, as the former cheerleaders picked the wrong highway to get to Toulouse. And despite them blazing their way easily through the tasks, the driving proved to do them in, stopping them short of the goal line.

It was a perfect day for them in France, as they truly displayed learning from their previous mistakes to dominate, particularly when it came to a tough memorizing Detour. Behind them were married couple Luis Colon and Michelle Burgos, who bounced back to the top of the pack. And in third place were Emily Bushnell and Molly Sinert, who maintained a top finish despite the increasingly mounting injury to Emily’s knee.
